Holy Weird !!

Listen to this...
Today I am working away and I feel something warming up in my pants pocket. Im thinking "What the.." and I reach into my pocket and find it's my Dell Axim X51v. Right through the Rhinoskin case, like it was in an oven. I try to turn the power on..no response. I perform a soft reset...and it boots up fine. Once I get to the today screen, I check the battery under settings..88%. Weird ! It cools down and goes back into my pocket. Like five minutes passes and I pull it back out to check something on my schedule and the battery warning flashes at me. I go back into settings to check battery level and it say 5%! Has anyone else experienced this? Is anyone tech-minded enough to know whether this is bad enough to talk to Dell? For all I know my battery's five year life span has been just reduced to one because of this. A big thanks in advance for any feedback.

You guys are awesome!

You guys both sent me the same link, and I followed the step-by-step instructions. It sure sounds like the fix. Listen, I this past Xmas became a Dell Axim owner after being a dedicated brand loyalist to Sony for six years with their Clie models. Sony is done making PDA's, when i first heard about this I was torn. In dire need of an upgrade from my latest Clie model (peg-nr70v) I was forced to make a change. After three months of research and reading reviews Dell was the one. My real point here is that through the several models of Sony I had PalmBoulevard.com was my forum site, and never did I see such fast, honest, helpful advice as I have here in my limited experience at Aximsite.com. Thanks Jukov and Srburk and the rest of you, i hope to be as big of a help to you someday.
