is it possible to scan virus on x51v direct from my pc?

if you get card export then u can hook the CF or SD card up to act as a removable drive (IE USB stick) and scan it then, but i've yet to hear about a virus for PocketPC, or even a desktop scanner that would pickup win mobile virii (sorta the same as asking a windows virus scanner to pick up mac binary virii on a mac network drive)

Don't waste any money on virus scanners for your PPC. I don't know if I've ever seen or heard of a virus on a PPC at all.

There is a PPC virus out there:

There is another one which is simply a "proof of concept" virus. Don't expect yourself to be completely vulnerable to the whims of some script kiddie, as the word macros and so on will not run on the PPC (as far as I know, anyone care to correct me?)

You can still download PC executables and scripts and so forth that harbour virii designed for the PC that will do no harm to your PPC but will make your PC life miserable...
