Screenguardz w/ transcriber

I find using the transcriber with a Screenguardz on the display very difficult due to the drag created by the plastic used.

I guess it's the nature of the beast but was wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

Yeah, I had the same experience with screengurdz, eventually shifted to boxwave crystal, and I am quite happy with that. They are costly, but you will get what you paid for. Its smooth and durable. for more detail comparison please see this thread:

I put some nose grease ( I know, gross) on the Screenguardz to make it slippery and it worked. The stylus glided very nicely. Some furniture polish may work even better!

That is probably the most disgusting thing I've seen posted on these boards.

wow,

i use screenguardz too, done a little stylus writing and found it to be slightly unresponsive sometimes, but ive never been tempted to wipe nose cheese all over the screen.

for me the screenguardz are fine, and since there were 15 per pack, ive used them on my camera, phone, mp3

How long have you put your screenguardz on it? When I first put it on and the bubbles were still on the screen, there is drag. After 24 to 36 hours, bubbles went again and it is very smooth.

Same with mine, smoothed out after first couple days.

well, I used screengurdz for around a month. For ordinary use it is just fine. But If you write too much on screen(transcriber or calligrapher), then it is rather rough. If you want to have an idea how smooth a screen protector should be for on screen writing try Boxwave Crystal.
