Fake server trick

I performed the fake server trick to my x51v and it still automatically starts activesyncing after I put it in the cradle and then when that sync if finished, it starts activesyncing again after a few more minutes. Is it supposed to do this? I thought after applying this trick it could only be activesynced manually?

The fake server trick only stops ActiveSync from launching itself when the device is not in the cradle.

If you don't want ActiveSync to launch itself while the Axim is in its cradle, go into ActiveSync on your desktop and disable the USB connection. The Axim will still charge but ActiveSync won't launch.
