How long does the X50v battery last when turned off?

May sound like an odd question, but I'm not a "Use my PDA every day person"
After the initial novelty of a new toy has worn off, I may not even power it on for a week or two or three!

This is never quoted in PDA specs, so that's why I'm asking :)

How do you find your X50v battery lasts by just sitting there?

I'm also assuming any setting (battery/power etc) are all irellevent when it's turned off.

Mine goes about 1% every few days, so I think It could last 2 1/2 to 3 months unless I am crazy.

Ditto.

Battery lasts a long time, few weeks just sittin' around.

However, caution, we don't like the backup battery goin' dead!

Leave in the cradle, charging, to its' hearts content!

Thanks for that :approve: , that would be excellent. I'm only really worried about it totally dying and loosing progs and data.

Anyone else like to comment?

I was wondering this.

Is it better for the battery (over the very long term) to be charged every night when I'm using the PC, even though it may not get turned on for a couple of weeks (seems pointless)

Or is it better to just leave it (unless you need to sync) and then charge it?

I don't want to cook the battery and shorten it's life.
