Question Question about using CF & SD in X51V simultaneously

Hi,

I'm a newbie to this site. I'm using iPAQ 6300 now and planning to switch to Axim X51V. I knew X51V supports both CF and SD card, my question is whether a CF card and a SD card can be used in a X51V simultaneously?

I didn't have a chance to see a real X51V yet. However according to the pics in Dell website, it seems the slot for CF and SD are the same, I worried about aCF and a SD can not be used in X51V simultaneously.

Anyone can clarify this for me? Thanks a bunch! :)

The CF and SD slots are adjacent to each other, but they use different connections, so you can use a CF and SD card simultaneously.

I have both a 1GB SD and an 8GB CF and both are always plugged in and in use all the time. The hole is the same but the pin seatings are separate. Just be aware that if you want to remove the CF card for GPS or some other device (or just switching) the seagates have no real grip area, so I had to remove the SD card and use pliers to gently grip and pull (for the time I took it out to upgrade to A06). I was really unhappy with doing that, worrying about damaging the drive but I later found this: link that described a way to attach a piece of tape. I haven't tried it, be sure not to cover the hole if you do...
