Windows mobile player 10
Hello! I am new to my axim and I tried to play a couple of videos but windows mobile player didnt let me
first, I tried to play a .avi and then a .mpeg and neither of thoese was I able to reproduce
Does anyone knows of a way to play them all?!
Or a free software that might play them, (it would be great if with the same Windows media player I could play them all)

TCPMP is the best one to use. Can play almost anything.

Most likely the videos you're trying to play use codecs that WMP doesn't support. Like Mad said, find TCPMP. It's the best ;).

TCPMP, and here's why:
* It uses a LOT less RAM than WM10
* You can import and run WM10 playlists
* You can create and EDIT playlists (unlike WM10)
* It plays almost every format of video files out there
It may not look as "sexy" as WM10, but sexy goes out the window when it doesn't do squat!

Does TCPMP also work as an audio player? I can't seem to make any sense out of Media Player.

I went with TCPMP. Is it possible to remove Media Player 10 from WM5? Any consequences in doing so if I wanted to use TCPMP as a replacement? I don't find Media Player of much use when it can't run the most popular file formats.

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks guys for the URL to TCPMP player!!! I'm the proud owner of a registered version of Enterprice Pocket TV for many MANY years now and I didn't want to "buy" another player again... $49.99 was a LOT to shell out then and trying to find a player to play MP4/DIVX was a pain in the butt!!!
TCPMP player fits the bill to a T!!!
Just one question though? I'm getting an error message when trying to play an MP4 file:
Plyer MPeg4 AAC Audio decoder not included! It was removed from the official install package because of intellectual property consideration...
Sounds like they got into a legal action to prevent distribution of MP4 audiot codec and if so, then I guess, I'll have to begin my quest anew to find another DIVX/MP4 player or is there a work around for this, please?

I found Platform 4 player plays MP4 files with AAC audio - it's not VGA cmpatible, but it will play the videos fine (if you want to use video podcasts or ipod video converter tools this is the only player that I know supports this codec):

Enjoy!

TCPMP = Almost everything on the net (Divx/Xvid etc)
Windows Media Payer = Windows formats (WMV/WMF)

Thanks Hajilie, but BEFORE, I install yet another media player, I would like to get confirmation first about the AAC and DIVX/MP4...
If not from you perhaps other members here in the Axim community? I would really REALLY like TCPMP to work with DIVX/MP4 files w/ audio, AAC Audio decoder, because a video without this is useless...
Thank in advance to all...

Google is your friend.:approve: I don't want to encourage anyone to do anything that might break copyright or anything, but a friend told me that googling for something like "betaplayer aac plugin" MIGHT help solve this problem :hide:
