Difficulties with Axim51

I have problem with wireless connection with my Home Pc,I have followed the steps from the manual for Axim regarding wireless connection

Dell Axim 51 WLAN wireless adapter using server assigned IP address its coming that its not connected
The question is like this is there is need to installing a new program tp my Pc or tp the Axim 51

Second problem is I am not able to see downloaded file extension .pdb before installing to the Axim 51, its coming in unrecognisable characters
I have intalles Isilo 4,3 to the windows &pocket Pc
I have tried to install visual basic C++ from microsoft before installing the file to Axim 51 but i didnt succed yet to download any book tå Axim 51, the file always coming in unrecognisable character

Third problem is my Axim turns off when not used for while thats why I have to soft reset it every morning ,Is it normal to be like this or there is a problem that I should speak with Dell
