You are going to want to forward the mail to mail2web from your other accounts.

Yeah. I got that. I can see it when I log on through the PC.
I was just about to contact their support since I am not getting anywhere.

Maybe they don't support AS 4.1 or WM5. Are you using either of those?

Your leaving out the mail2web doesn't recommend using the Aggregator function, instead forward the mail. Aggregator should only be used from difficult email providers that don't have forwarding. Also the Aggregator only updates once an hour

I figured it out. Go to your E-mail Settings in your Control Panel on the Mail2Web site on your PC.
That tells you the name to use to log in.
Mine is BrandenRussell_mail2
No .com at the end.

Well, that fixed it for the WiFi. My cradle still won't work, but that is might be due to settings on my work's network.

I get "Cannot connect with current connection settings"
Support Code:85020006

Any ideas?

Edit:
Oh, nevermind.
Some how my File | Connection Settings in my PC's AS got changed from The Internet to Automatic under "This computer is connected to:".
Changed it back to The Internet and fixed that problem too.

Is there any advantage by using this instead of IMAP?

I guess this is my question as well.

Currently using an @fastmail.com.au account with IMAP and fairly happy with it.

What I cannot work out is whether you would be able to send and recieve emails using this system from a wifi hotspot. Say if I was sitting in my local "Cino to go" and wanted to check and reply to some emails. I can do this easy enough with fastmail using either the web interface or IMAP in either Pocket Outlook or WebisMail.

It looks great except for two things that stand out to me:
  • I can't get it to work with Outlook on my desktop! I've been dreaming of having Outlook work with an Exchange server and having my mail/contacts on any computer... this brought my hopes up. But nope. Still can't do it without paying.
  • On my computer in 1024x768, the ad banner takes up half the screen!

If you pay $1.99/mo then Mail2Web gives you POP3/IMAP4 capability so you can use OUtlook as email client.

Me too, I am using the free version, we have to deal the ads..There is nothing such free lunch..

You might or might not need sync with Exchange server, but here you go again..

- sync your calendar, task, contacts as well as email
- Automatic Mail push (SKU2), do you know how popular Blackberry is and people pay big bucks for this...
- Quick email checking, just sync...
