Duplicates in the Calendar

Hi Gang!
Several months ago I began synching my Dell Axim v50 with my laptop computer instead of my desktop. (We're on a Winter trip) To begin with I forgot to change the settings and lost all my contacts (bummer). I've now changed the settings to "synch computer with Dell" (or whatever it says). But, each day I am getting more and more calendar duplicates. Sometimes I get a dialogue that asks me if I want the duplicates deleted. When I check "yes," I still wind up with three or four left. Is there a way to delete duplicate Calendar entries ON the Axim?
