Activesync "retreiving settings" forever

I know a good bit about computers. I can build them, break them , overclock them, I even have a custom home built hardcore water cooling system. I can network, problem solve, fix software issues :iconbangh , I can even navagate around dos a good bit. My point being, even if you think you know it all, when the guys here tell you the issue is with your firewall , listen to them.

I have heard the old blame it on the firewall crap (concerning other issues) a million times and until now they all just didn't know what they were talking about. Well after a week of frustration I decided WTH and uninstalled my software firewall (I like being able to monitor and control what goes out) and guess what, now my activesync works flawlessly....well as flawless as a MicroShaft product can.

I will never doubt aximsite advice again :nw:
