Bluetooth PC to X51v file transfer ?

New here and can't figure it out. I can send files from X51v to PC with no problem but cannot figure how to send PC to Axim. Please help.

I have heard that the x51v does not have the bluetooth profiles to receive files over bluetooth. Untill we get an update we can not reveive files over bluetooth.

Actually it should be the other way around. The microsoft BT stack doesn't support sending yet. EX- I can send photos from my razr to my x51v but not the other way around.

You can send fine! Just "beam" the file, it will show bluetooth devices under any IRDA devices

I can send files from the X51V to my laptop and vice versa.

Receiving files via IR and Bluetooth look similar. The screenshot was taken on the X51V receiving files from my laptop. Doubting Thomases might reply, just tell me and I'll send you a picture taken from my camera with the Axim receiving a file from my laptop via bluetooth in action

That being said the OBEX bluetooh file transfer of the X51V is crap, and too unreliable. A lot of devices cannot send files to the X51.

For now activesync via bluetooth and then use "explore" then just drag and drop. Convoluted? Yep.. but it's all we have for now.
