Activesync not recognizing my x51v

Guys this is really weird. Searching didn't help me for some reason. It doesnt see my x51v when it is plugged in, and when I tried using it with bluetooth sync, it didn't work either (I had these both working before I reformatted my computer) Could it be because my axim still is looking for my old PC?

Did you reinstall Activesync and Outlook?

have you installed a firewall?

I use sygate and this stops activesync working, even after following ms rules setup found on the ms site.

I have had the same problems several times - each time it always boils down to a firewall setting... Definitely check that first...
