yes please, and right now chris has the best vga cord at $20 with usb and power connector.

First off, we don't need three simultaneous solicitations for a device which already exists that you haven't even made yet.

Secondly, do you expect the price point to be significantly below the $50 that Dell already sells the cable for?

Thirdly, do you imagine that your DIY solution will look like anything other than an obviously DIY'd solution, or can you make it look like the nice tight package Dell is offering.

Finally, consider doing a bit of research on available solutions and at least offer some sort of comparison which demonstrates that your "solution" will meet/exceed the functionality of what's already available before spamming the board.

chaosrain: Don't be so skeptical. Chrismax already makes this cable (professional grade quality) for $20 and it includes a mini USB sync cable.
