I paid $409 for a Dell Sealed unit off e-bay, with a packing slip, second battery, and 2yr warranty.

It gets here sometime today, and I am impatiently waiting.

I'll let you know if its "Dell Sealed/New" or not. Otherwise, I have a seller to track down in the state next door.

$522, X51v, second battery, 3 year warranty, Dell BT GPS, USB cradle, shipping - directly from Dell about 4 weeks ago. Don't know why I sprung for the 3 year warranty. This thing will be obsolete within 1 year.

Got mine for $289 shipped with a coupon. I like it ok so far, but I think if my iPaq rx3715 had had VGA I never would have sold it. Oh well.

I got my Dell Axim X51v *FREE* from my boss.

He accidently placed an order for a bunch of Dell Laptops and forgot that the Dell Rep had quoted three Axim's with it.

The bean counters didn't catch them on the quote so the order was placed just like normal.

When they came in, he passed them out to us FREE of charge.

I bought my x51v on ebay for 199 in box unopened with 3year waranty and lots of extras like 2nd batery and screen protectors along with all the crap that came in the box like dock and case and power dongle also mine came with a 1gb sd card. So you see lots of people buy these things bulk and cant get rid of them and i thank them for it look at what all i got for $199 and $30 shipping.

You should post that in the Deals section.

Similar experience here, but bought from Dell. I spent hours and weeks looking for a better deal, and in the end I couldn't break $350 shipped for a 1 year warranty, even though I saw some people had gotten a 2 yr warranty and GPS for 280ish... Highly disappointing, but within the time frame I had to work with, the deal just wasn't there. (That price is even with 20% off + $45 off 400 Delf.) I didn't see anything better on fleabay either and didn't really trust it for that amount of money either.

I love my Ax51v but still feel I got ripped off, relative to what others had gotten. But what can you do?

OP: that's nice, but it still doesn't reflect on anyone's intelligence nor the effort they put in to finding deals. You got lucky. Congratulations.

I paid $400. My time is too valuable to screw around trying to squeeze out every last nickel.
