Hide contacts/appointments? Private appointments - What's the point???

I really want to be able to hide my appointments and contacts. I'm not the only person who may use my PPC. Also, what exactly is the point of labelling an appointment as "private" if it still shows up for anyone to see?

I enter a passcode when starting the PPC, but that just doesn't cut it.

I've tried Pocket Informant - no good.
I've tried to find Pocket Privacy - the website no longer has a link to the program! ( any links anyone?)

You're understanding of what a private appointment is isn't quite right... the private appointments are invisible when people have shared calendars on exchange.

At work i sync with outlook (which stores it's data on exchange). Thus my colleagues can see when i have a business meeting (and who with etc...) but not my Auntie Shirley's Birthday, or my plans to go out to the pub tomorrow after work  )

Well, I figured the private appointment aspect was for shared outlooks... But still, any ideas on what to use to hide contacts and appointments?

I use this feature all of the time. When I print my calender you can specify to not print private appointments.

My old Palm Vx used to have a security feature to hide items as you describe. I, too, haven't been able to find anything comparable on a Windows device. If I hear of anything, I'll let you know.
