ILauncher improves X50v with WM5?

I haven't tried it yet on my X51V, but have been running it on the Cingular 8125 (HTC Wizard) and I like it a ton. It lets you do a lot with the 5-way navigator buttons, not need the stylus for most things - very cool ...

ilauncher made pocketsnes cannot load games.

Doesn't look like they have had a chance to update it for the latest version but you can download the manual here: http://www.sbsh.net/products/ilaunch...p?page=support

Just wondering if any of you who are reporting an improvement on a x50v with WM5 are running the filesys.exe hack as well.

I have been using version 10 of the hack for about three weeks now and been pretty happy with my x50v with WM5.

I agree with this question. Are you using JUST Ilauncher or have you also applied the teatks and fixes here? Has anyone run benchmarks to show what they get? MORE InFO PLEASE!

Tried out the new iLauncher. Had my first major problem in a couple months, where the CPU overheated, drained most of the battery, and refused to turn on. (X51v)

Hmm, I did a hard reset and put ilauncher on and my axim is running great. only other thing I did was put change the cache values in the registry. didn't need the filesys.exe hack.

I had problems again (slow down)... and ILauncher was installed. :(
However I solved the problem running the Registry Cleaner tool from Pocket Mechanic. (bad COM's found in the registry)

And this is on the x50v? Besides being stable, is it as fast as 2003se or reasonably close?? Like I said MORE INFO!!!

1. Install ILauncher
2. Install Pocket Mechanic and verify you have not errors from Registry Cleaner tool.
3. Defrag the SD if you have programs installed on it.

Yes. It's a lot better (tried on my X50v)

Great! Now have you run any bechmarks on it? How does it compare to 2003se?

4. The CPU sometimes stuck at 624MHz... to solve it, go to the registry and delete the keywords "CompactionPrio256" & "CompactionCritPrio256" from HKLM\drivers\buitltin\strataFMD
