Managing 25 Axim PDAs

Hello,

I'm managing 25 Axim PDAs, which we will loan out to people to use an application we wrote.

Everything's working fine, except that it's very time-consuming to roll out a software update on 25 PDAs by ActiveSync'ing them one at a time.

Does anybody have any advice on managing a bunch of PDAs at once? I connected all of the PDAs to my computer via a few USB hubs, and while the computer can see them all, I can't get it to interact with them properly...

SOTI has solutions that you're probably looking for. What comes to mind are MobiControl and Pocket Controller Enterprise. Licenses for Pocket Controller Enterprise are kind of steep though coming in at around $136 USD for 4 licenses. They did say that there is a discount if more than 15 licenses are purchased. MobiControl has just been released as well.

These two seem kind of overkill if you are just looking for a solution that will just push software out to the different devices. However, your time synching 25 devices is pretty valuable as well. They do have trial software you can download to try out. The web site is http://www.soti.net
