I read about the WSOD. The thing with mine is that it doesn't stay stuck at the white screen. It starts but there is a brief few miliseconds of white screen when I start and put the pda to sleep. Any idea what is causing it? I have pocketbreeze on my today screen and also magic button. That's about it.
This is normal and you dont need to worry about it. The axim's screen without a video feed is just white, because of the backlight. It takes a little bit for the axims video feed to start, but the backlight is already running.
Most screens and monitors are black when they are on without video feed, but the axim's is white because it has to do with the backlight being on.

Thanks for the reply and explanation spunker88....:approve:
Well, if it actually gets worse, perhaps your X51V is loading the RAM from persistent storage, and the more programs and data you are actively accessing, the longer this will take. Sound reasonable? The soft reset would unload all programs that do not reload on boot. So, yeah, a soft reset is the way to go.

... I also notice there isn't any sound coming out of my speaker during sleep mode either ...
I guess it would have trouble sleepin with all the ruckus otherwise...
