Device name; sync with existing "My Docs"

Axim X50v broke. Dell sent me a replacement. Currently has (and probably will keep) WinMobile 2003. I have EXISTING data in my Dales_AXIM My Documents file.
1. Where is the Device Name setting so I can name my new AXIM 'Dales_AXIM'? I've looked EVERYWHERE and can't find it. Thought it was in the handheld ActiveSync program, but can't find it.
2. Active Sync keeps wanting to set up a NEW relationship. How do I get ActiveSync to "recognize" the old Dales_AXIM My Documents directory?
