Which ActiveSynch

So the X51v arrived today. I have had an X5 and X30 and both of which worked flawlessly.
I am worried about which ActiveSynch to use for the new Axim. It came with 4.0 from dell but I downloaded 4.1 from MS.
Which is best to use?

Where is a link to the thread about the ActiveSynch tweaks? Thanks.

edit: The version on the disk from Dell is 4.1

Something isnt right with this thing.
I re-synched my X30 and it worked.
The X51 just sits there and doesnt transfer any data other than allow me to install programs.
Whats up?

With the x51 connected go to options and select what to sync. Did you install Outlook? If not there may be nothing to sync. You have to set up file syncing, I don't think that is done automatically.

I don't have two devices but activesync might be trying to keep the X30 users data separate from the X51. Maybe someone with two devices can help with that one.

I sounds like you are in Guest mode. You will have to establish a partnership with it.

Not in guest mode either.
I have been able to install programs to the Axim.
I only installed programs after trying several times to get my initial data synched.
The X51 seems much slower than the X30 so far too.
ie when tapping on programs, it takes longer for them to start on the 51.
