Help! Messed up extensions

I attempted to change file extensions for .MP3 and .WAV files so that they'd open with TCPMP instead of Media Player, however I found that everytime I try and play a file from the file explorer, it says it cannot be found or the network protocol is not supported. I changed it back to Media Player but the error still happens. It's rather irritating. If I look at the Now Playing part and view the properties of the sound clip that supposedly doesn't exist (but does), it says the location is "Card/Sounds/Sound.mp3" when it should be "CF Card/Sounds/Sound.mp3".
Is there any solution to this? :(
Any help greatly appreciated!

I'm not clear how you changed the extensions.. but you can make TCPMP the default player by choosing the right file associations from TCPMP settings.

Try GSFinder (free) or Resco File explorer. Both of them allows you to reset file associations.
