Email syncronization options
Okay....so after reading all the topics about thunderbird syncing with the Axim, I'm no where closer to getting what I want!
Basically I'm using Outlook as my Calander and Contact Client and Thunderbird as my mail client because I can set up one inbox per email account (if anyone can tell me how to do this with Outlook 2003 I'd love to know!) and able to set up many email folders to suit my needs. Anyways, I've managed to sync with Activesync over the net well, but now I want a way to be able to let my Axim view and modify my emails and email folders on my laptop. I want to preserve my email and email folders that I have set up through thunderbird and just be able to view and modify if needed. If I make changes through the Axim to any emails or email folders I want it to reflect on my laptop, so when I come check my emails the changes have already been implimented.
So I've been thinking how I can accomplish this. I'm not sure if I can set up an exchange server with IMAP and set up Thunderbird. But I'm not familiar with Exchange so was wondering if this is possible since I have three email accounts and would like to keep each account seperate. If this is possible then I'm sure I can find some Email client for the Axim to sync with any email at any time. If anyone else knows another way I would greatly appreciate it! I rather not set up an exchange server since that's a bit much of a hassle! And if an exchange server is the only way possible how would I go abouts setting IMAP? Hope to hear from you guys!
