How to remove programs from recently opened on the start menu!

I have found a way to remove recently opened programs from being listed on the start menu. I am not sure if you can use the built in file explorer to do it, I used Resco due to its easy "move to" and "copy to" features. Or it can be done using the explorer button from the sync window while the device is connected. In either case, browse to the windows directory, then open the "start menu" folder.
The way I did it was create new folders in that directory that made sense, i.e. a folder called"Text" for my text programs such as Word, and a folder called "Multimedia" for my programs like TCPMP, windows media, audible player, etc... you get the idea. After I created the folders I wanted, I went into the "programs folder of the start menu "while still in explorer, then moved the links FROM there TO the appropriate start menu folders. Keep in mind, I used MOVE, not COPY. Now when I click on the start menu it only displays my newly created sub folders i.e. "Text", "Multimedia", "Internet", "Utilities" etc, as well as
the "Settings" folder. When I open a program, and then close it, it no longer appears on the start menu as a recently opened program. BUT there is a down side which to me wasn't a big deal... If you have a soft key associated with one of those programs such as the "home" key asssociated with opening internet explorer it will no longer work. It seems that soft keys can ONLY be associated with programs that are actually available under the "Programs" subfolder of the start menu. But, again for me, I prefer to not have the clutter on my start menu.

Thanks for sharing. A utility such as SKTools will also remove your recently used programs list from your Start menu.
