new x51v - problems w/ the basics (software)

Trying to set up my new X51V (first pocket pc in 4 or 5 years)

1. downloaded adobe's acrobat reader for pocket pc, and can't get it to work ... Does adobe's work, or do I need to buy a PDF viewer?

2. downloaded MS reader, and can't seem to get .txt files into it ... is it possible? or can someone recommend a good text reader?

3. I wanted to try Age of Empires, but searching Handango doesn't turn it up (only a MIPS version?), and the link from Pocket PC Mag software awards (to Zio? doesn't help much either) ... anyone know where I can get it?

4. Any program you'd suggest all x51v's need to have to "work".

adobe worked for me although it did have some quirks with wm5
MS reader only reads microsofts .lit files. you might want to google for the word plugin that converts documents to .lit files
one of my friends had AOE on his x5 which is a xscale so it should work.
