Do you have the software for syncing Palm to Outlook (can't recall which models it shipped with) That would work best, as ActiveSync would then pull the addresses out of Outlook.

Another possibility would be to use "beaming"... not sure if you can do them all at the same time though.

No, I don't have Outlook only Outlook Express (not supported). Do have beaming capabilities and appears I can beam a whole category. Have over 700 address/phone files so wouldn't want to do individually. If beam dosn't work what about exporting? Open to any ideas!

Try Intellisync for Yahoo! -- you will need a Yahoo account - you can then use to sync your Palm Addressbook with the Yahoo addressbook and then sync your Yahoo addressbook with Outlook. I used a couple of months ago to transfer data from my Palm IIIx to Axim X51v - worked like a charm...

Hope that helps...

I don't recall the exact sequence, but I used a Yahoo calendar as an intermediary when I converted. Search around here, it will turn up. Or perhaps someone else's memory is better than mine tonight?

Update: Google found this, and the last post has some instructions (that I did not verify!).

Install Outlook and import your contacts from Express into it - then proceed as normal..

Don't you get a free copy of Outlook with Activesync?

Thanks everyone for the advice. I should have my Axim x51v in a few days. I'll let you know how the conversion goes. Does anyone use WinPim? Interested in your thoughts. I've been using it for a year on my pc at work.
