Power Solutions in the UK

I've seen a lot of power solutions for extending the battery life of x50/x51 pda's but I can't find any UK references to products. I bought an AA battery extender from ebay and it doesn't work (using high amp recharg batts and pda on full charge - the charge lamp turns on but thats it).

Are there any good power brick - esque solutions available in the UK? Or any other ideas?

I have a x50v and fly a lot of long haul for work so it needs to be reasonably portable (and not blow up too often :) )

Cheers!

There are a couple of solutions but my 4xAA battery extender from maplin is still the one I use, simply because I carry dozens off AA rechargeable batteries and can use them in half a dozen devices.

Also it costs less than £4

I steal my sons PSP power brick as it's the same voltage and plug as my X50v uses. My battery normally last 2-3 hours and with the PSP power brick I get and extra 2-4 recharges, depending on what the X50v is being used for.

The mugen 3300 battery is excellent. If you want an external battery, the socketcom mobile power battery is good as well and (I think) 7300mah, has a standard USB output (http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=123164). None of the AA battery extenders can supply enough power for the x51, though they might work on your x50
