Sound When clicking How to turn off

How can I leave sound on my Axim x51v WM5 but disable the noise that results from clicking on menus like the start button. Is it possible in the registry or by using sbp pocket plus?

Thanks. I tried to search for the info but couldn't find anything.

Second Question: what are your feelings about loading 3rd party software under WM5. Do you think it is best to wait for real WM5 software as opposed to 2003SE software that was just "patched" to WM5 or does that not matter?

Third: Is there or can we round up a stickyy list of must have software? Here's my top 3:

1. Alternative to windows media player
2. DVD / mpeg player.
3. Better wi-fi utility so you can more easily choose the network you want to connect to.
4. System management utility - probably sbp plus.

Turn off screen tap sounds:
tap Windows button, tap SEttings, tap Sounds & Notifications, clear tickbox for screen taps, etc. (Events for the menu sounds).
Also, for 1. and 2. you could use TCPMP (at www.corecodec.org) for playing both audio and video files. It has the supports the most formats.
And there are some good free software round-ups on Aximsite.
