Question Exchange Server

At work, we get our outlook email through an exchange server.
How do I setup the axim x51v for exchange?

It asks for server info. incoming and outgoing and domain...

I'd ask the IT people here but, they're not too helpful with these things!

Thanks,
paul

Simplest answer is you really should talk to your company IT guys. You mentioned that you're being prompted for incoming and outgoing servers, so I imagine you are trying to setup a POP3 connection - which may or may not even be allowed on your Exchange Server. If it is, it may be on a default port, or a 'secure' POP3 port depending on how your IT staff have set it up.

Even nicer is to use ActiveSync - but again you should check with your IT guys to see if this feature is setup and allowed and (hopefully) uses SSL and secure connections.

I'm an IT guy - so others may disagree, but I firmly believe that if you want to do your own thing and not consult IT dept., then go for it with your own private gmail / yahoo / whatever account. If you want to connect to a corporate Exchange server, you should have to talk to IT staff and ensure you connect per company standards ...

The exchange server in your company needs to either support MIS if is older than; exchange 2003, be an exchange 2003 server, or support an IMAP connection in order for you to get your emails in your PPC.

As others said, you need to get the required information from your IT department.
