much slower Activesync file transfers since 2 days ago
Hi,
I have a X51v and I can't figure out what I did on my PDA/PC that affected my activesync file transfers. Now it must take about 45 min to transfer a 8Mo file!!
And weird enough, I figured that transfers are much faster (just like before) while Activesync is actually syncing. It lasts 20s, and then it become unbelievably slow until then next autosync.
Has anyone had this problem before?
Thanks in advance!

Its lunar!
No, sorry.
Yes, I've had active sync problems in the past.
Not sure this will halp, but here are things to try:
1 - Soft reset Axim; power cycle PC
2 - someone else posted on aximsite about pc app that turns off active sync and allows it to be turned back on; this is a marvelous utility, and often does just enough to correct active sync (search here for it - I don't have it on my work pc, it is at home)
3 - you could also kill the active sync task, can't remember what is it called, I usually can just find it in task manager and killing it sort of resets active sync
4 - copy the sync directory on your pc, delete partnership and let it delete files and stuff (you just make a copy) then reconnect Axim and recreate partnership;
5 - uninstall active sync, reboot pc, and reinstall active sync
hope something here helps

Thanks for your answer!
Unfortunately, none of your suggestions fixed my problem. I still have to keep pressing the Sync button while installing an app or copying a file

Hmmm, I'd have thought the uninstall / reinstall would have been the final trick to fix it.
Sorry, I have no other ideas, other than trying on another computer.
If it doesn't work on anther computer either, you might consider a hard reset (there is a tutorial with the appropriate warnings on how to do that in the tutorial section).
