Battery-indicator in Today bar?
Hi,

Can anyone tell my how to get a battery indicator, preferably in percentages, in the top bar of my Todayscreen? My device is a X51V.

And maybe if you know that, youmight also know if I can get rid of the bottombar in the Todayscreen?

magic button... vbar... ilauncher and Pocket+ will all do the bar thing for you (as will loads of other programs)

There are a program called Battery Pack Lite on the CD`s coming with the X51V
from Dell. I have heard some people had problem with the Battery Pack Pro but the Lite version supplied with the Pda has worked ok for me.

yea. I think the best one is the pocket plus one. (in terms of stability)

I actually have 3 Battery Monitor Programs installed - Omega One Battery Pack Pro (Battery Monitor part NOT-installed), SPB Pocket Plus (Battery bar at top enabled, Today Monitor Disabled, Resco Explorer Today Plugin (Today Battery Monitor enabled)

I use Omega One Battery Pack Pro for the Program Bar, Power Alert (Better Alarm Control), Power Time, and Power Clean.

I use SPB Pocket Plus for closing programs (does better job than Battery Pack Pro), Taskbar Battery, Power Buttons, PIE enhancements, and Safe Mode

I use the Resco Explorer Today Plugin to monitor Battery, memory and storage on the today screen, as well as exploring SD / CF media directly, without having to Open Explorer, then browse to where SD / CF is.

All three work well together.

TodaysInfo is a freeware that will display RAM, ROM, battery status and either the CF or SD card free space. Works fine on x51v.

I've developed Xscale monitor that shows speed, processor charge, battery, current consumprion and memory in a small bar in the today bar.

It's free and you can get in in my page.
