WM5 is not usable (locks up, requires hard boots, half the BUILT-IN apps don't function properly), and so they have failed on their commitment.
I would have not bought the X50V if they accurately advertised their intentions like this:
We will sell you your X50 today with 2003SE, we will send you the free upgrade to WM5 in October, but it won't work very well at all. Then if we feel like it, MAYBE sometime in the next 12 months we'll release an update to try to make SOME of WM5 usable on your device.

That's y i am waitin for Dell to release X52V <---- IF it solve the bluetooth stack problem.
