AximX51v Joy - Minor Shocks!

I have been really pleased with my Axim X51v since it arrived this week. A marvelous bit of kit offering some real advantages over my older iPaq5550.

I had one minor moment of fear today when I noticed my Outlook appointments were having their notes truncated. As I use each days diary events to record my notes for reports this was worrying.
But having found the registry hack to resolve this my fears and worries have been overcome.

The only other thing that annoys me is the hassle needed to actually close programs. What programs/utilities are peole using to provide a close fucntion instead of the annoying 'hide' option provided as standard?

Other than those two issues I am have been over the moon with my X51v and am gald I took the leap to upgrade.

Doesn't seem to slow anything down.
Be sure you do the active sync tweak posted as a sticky. It will save you a lot of troubles.

I have looked at vbar and Inclose Mobile.
Both are good and I think I'll try each for a week or so to see which I prefer.

You can try Magic Button too. Its very famous around here.

Try WisbarAdvance too. It's the best task manager available. :) You can navigate through programs as though you're using windows.
