Help, cradle LED not working

Just found out yesterday while charging my x51v, the little led on the bottom of the cradle stopped working. I think it usually lights up orange while charging then turns green when completed. (note, this is the light on the cradle NOT the PDA power button)

I tried to unplug the power cord and plug in again, by doing so I was able to make the light just to flash once. (less than a sec)

Beside this problem, the PDA still charges and syncs fine.

Any idea what happened here?

The LED only works when there is a battery in the pocket on the cradle, not with the Ax. It shows the status of the battery in the pocket.

Like what Jake said it only lights up when the battery is in the back up cradle not in the pda

Doh! I never knew that before!
I placed my spare in there right now for charging, but I still don't see a light. Does it only light up when fully charge?

um..silly me, some one i swear I remember the light comes up all the time when docked. I'll give it a try later tonight.

It stays on while its charging. Orange.
