BTW: I hope HP releases the WM5/AKU2 version...If so, we'd have some hope for Dell to release new ROM...(nah..wishful thinking....)

well sadly, WM5 on hx4700 is probably going to be slow like it is on x50v. No XIP, not native to the hardware, etc.

I think HP must have have been ensuring that there won't be so many problems as in x50v's upgrade by delaying it so long.

Well, at least its AKU2. I believe this will provide it the ability to receive push email. Hopefully Dell will upgrade the ROM for x50 and x51 users alike.

I've just upgraded my 4700 to WM5.

I had some speed issues running SPB Pocket Plus and Weather but after getting rid of them it seems very fast and very stable. So far so good but I don't seem to be having any of the problems that have been reported with the x50v upgrade.

BTW HP also included the Widcomm Bluetooth Stack, thank god.
