In the event a commercial solution comes out, donate the money to Aximsite towards some contests or something like that.

The longer you accept donations/the more the jackpot is, the more people are going to work towards a solution.
i like this idea...any reason why we shouldn't keep this open?

oh, $10 via paypal commitment here

I have updated all names. I thank everyone who has pledged so far for being so generous and thank the people who are working on this now for their hard work. And to answer the question about why there is a deadline? The reason why this contest exists is because we want the wait for functional bluetooth to END. And I dont know if it's just me, but I don't want it to end in a year, I want it to end NOW (two weeks is close enough :)).

2 weeks.......... hmm.........:rolling:

If you have or know someone that own a PSP, you probably know that you can play ISO (illegal download game) on firmware 1.5 PSP. Then Sony changed the game storage code to make it no longer work on those PSP. Everyone is so disappointed because they can no longer play New release games if they wish to keep their SNES emulators and other useful programs that are only available for firmware 1.5 PSP. Recently, there is a breakthrough. ISO for new games finally works for firmware 1.5 PSP, although it does take more than a few monthes to get it working.

I know that you want to end it very soon, so as everyone in this forum, including me. I keep coming to this site twice a day, day and night, to see if there is any progress about BT stack problem solving. But 2 weeks is quite tight (i think*) because ppl are not going to sit their ass down and program 12 hours a day just to get it work. They probably do it 1 hour a day during their free time, and after programming, it also needs testing, and re-program, re-test.....

who knows, maybe he is a genius and able to get it work with 1 try :approve:

Well the $1000 prize is supposed to be an incentive to "sit their ass down and program 12 hours a day just to get it work."

In any case, the initiative is worthwhile. Is better to have people doing something.
