Aximsitex50icon Project Management capabilities with x50v

Hello all,

I am a Structural Engineer / Project Manager. Just recently I was promoted to a project management position.

I'm looking for a system to be used with my Axim that does the following:

Manages my own project w/ multiple stages to the project
Manages my employees' projects also w/ multiple stages as well as multiple people per project.
Hopefully is compatible with Outlook.

I'm currently using Pocket Informant but I'm either trying to use it as its not intended or not using it to its fullest.

Any thoughts / suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I don't know if this will do all you need, but here is link for Agenda Fusion.

I tried Agenda Fusion for a little while. didn't like it as much as pocket informant.
Right now I use pocket informant's heirarchical tasks to organize projects. I'm just wondering what everyone else does

Take a moment to look at this site. You may be able to find some information to help. More or less it shows diffrent ways to use what you have (PI/PB, ect) to manage projects/tasks.

I also suggest looking at David Allens - Getting Things Done (bigger picture).

Back in my palm days there was a software called Shadow Plan that worked well for some aspects of project managment.

I use Pocket Informant with projects set up to each have it's own category (color coded). Each project has heirarchical tasks to help me keep up with what I am supposed to be doing/tracking on each project. I also use the Journal sync function to make notes/record thoughts for specific tasks, separate from the notes kept within PI. I have also used David Allen's GTD concepts, find that useful for planning and tracking status on projects (both at work and at home!).

Have you try Construction Manager ?
A nice calculator is allways nice, like the Advantage Calculators
Or maybe a free one as Calc 98.

Have you also looked at the software Frenchy posted about recently?

I haven't tried it yet, but want to see if you can really transfer info from MS Project.
