Wav codec

can anyone help me with this.. I have Lingo voip phone, and I set it up so that the voice mail goes to my e-mail. Whenever I am on the road, I can download the messages and listen to them. When I click on it , directly from the e-mail the wav wants to open with Windows Media player.. but then it stops saying that the file format is not supported.

so..
1) Is there a way to get a bunch of codecs for the windows player? If so where?
2) Make the wav file play by default on TCPMP ( or wahterver you call this softwware ), On that player, the file plays with no problems.

thanks in advance

1. No.
2. Yes, you can set this up within TCPMP itself. Options, Settings, Select Page, File Associations. Just check every audio and video file type they have available.

p.s. 6 minutes to answer. How's that for fast?

Yes. In TCPMP click on Options > Settings > Select Page > File associations and check any box having to do with a Microsoft Audio format, then click Ok.

Yes, but in TCPMP, if you tap Options > Settings > Select Page > File Associations and check any box having to do with a Microsoft Audio format and then click ok, then it will do exactly what you want to do.
