adjusting memory settings

any one have an idea on how to adjust my memory settings on my X51 so i can have more program memory instead of storage?

There isn't anything on the device that will allow you to or give you more program memory, but I recall seeing a hardware upgrade that will double your "ram". It's not cheap either from what I recall.

Since we're on the topic of memory, (and I have my opperating system final in one hour) I was wondering if WM5 uses virtual memory. If so, then I believe that adding say a 4gb md should boost the performance.

No virtual memory on WM5 as they don't all have SD or CF card when you start them for the first time.

I doubt it will help performance. Are you trying to make it like a paging file in Windows XP or something where it will actually use part of your hard drive as RAM? It is my understanding WM5 can't do this. Its ram is fixed.
