WiFi Companion?

Hi, I'm buying an Axim X51v and I was wondering if any of you bought the WiFi Companion. Should I get it? Does it help at all? Thanks.

Don't know, but can say that the inbuilt WiFi works fine for me.

wifi companion doesnt work on x51v. Im surprised they're still selling it. Most people who get it end up returning it.

its works with the X51V. You can read for yourself at the link below. I did not have luck with the Dell built in utility but use wifi companion and am able to hook into free wifi hotspots easy with no problems. Take care.

I haven't been able to get it to work on my x51v either...I guess I'll give it another try.

I got the Companion software with my x51v and it has been working great for public hotspots and my home network. It is not as robust or versitile as Odyssey, but it does a pretty good job.

I have WiFi Companion for my x51v and it works just fine for me. I like the graphic interface and ease of use. It gives more details and the built in utility with your Axim.
If it were up to me....I would say get. It's not absolutely necessary, but a nice addition.

Now that I used oddessy client i found its better than wifi companion for my uses...
