MP3s via Card Reader; Conversion Needed?

Hi everyone,

I'm thinking about getting a card reader so that I can make the transfer process faster. I noticed a number of file types need to be converted before they are usable by a X50v. Is MP3 one of these file types? Or can I simply drag MP3s onto a SD disk via a card reader and it'll work in my PDA?

Thanks!

no conversion needed most of your data does not need converting as it is already compatible with the pda be it mp3s or video or any ppc file

I just finally installed a card reader in my puter and it has made a huge difference! Can't believe it took me this long to buy one. I just always thought I would wait till I needed something else as well to make it worth it. So I got a better DVD burner also! hehehe

i dont use mp3s on my axim i have all wmas, the reason why is cuz wmas sound better than mp3 and have less of a file size , a cd quality mp3 file is a bitrate of 192kbps which is about 4-6MB whereas a cd quality wma file has a bitrate of 64kbps which is only 1-3MB in size a cd quality wma pro file is with a bitrate of 48kbps which is even smaller than that.
