Maybe the tech just said that so people will stop calling in to complain over and over again. :)

I would think he'd get the opposite reaction from people if that were the case. People would be calling in even more to complain that there isn't going to be a fix.

True Tblove, this is new news to me..haha, then again, I dont have an x51v for just this reason. I wanted to see how WM5 would hold up first before I, the broke college kid that I am, spent money (anything at all) to upgrade my perfectly working and functional x30 h... Also, to PatrickY, I say post away man at anything you find out... and that goes for everyone. I enjoy reading pretty much all the posts, and am curious to find out new info. If someone posted something and I happened to miss it, its cool to have someone else repost later so I see it...Kudos man!!

People are really sensitive around here lately. I accidently posted a thread that apparently had been posted already last week also and a few people let me know about it. I don't understand what the big deal is. If someone accidently post something that has already been posted obviously they didn't see the other post. So just don't waste your time reading it. I for one last week couldn't wait to get on here and see what everyone thought. Didnt see the other post. I for one will definitely take the time to look all over the board before making that mistake again.
Thanks for posting, I know you were trying to be informative and for me it was because I hadn't seen the other posts. So thanks.

;)

Don't worry about it ItzmeSchizo .You were just trying to help others and there is nothing wrong with that.I for one choose to thank the person for posting and leave it at that.I see no reason to chastise someone for at least trying to be helpful.

Lets just face the music right now, Dell is not going to give it to us, they are not gonna give us anything good, they keep sending us replacements that are also faulty as well, i am havin problems with the charging on the second replacement they sent me,and if i call them they might send me one where the sound wont work, and they say they cant send a brand new one cuz its outside of 21 days, and they should just let u keep a replacement till they have finished reparing the one u sent in, but NO!!! We can take them to court for this, cuz they false advertised and stole our money

Would it not be worth it to get in touch with Cnet or some big company that can get a straight answer from Dell?
