Question MS Reader making my x51v lag!

Hi, this forum's great! I just got an Axim X51v, and this forum's helped with a lot of common problems I've had. However, ever since I installed Microsoft Reader, funny things have happened:

1. I'm not sure if this was exclusive to MS Reader's presence, but it certainly happened more often when it was there - when I close MS Reader, sometimes the Programs window would be behind it and I can't close it. I'm using MagicButton, and I've read somewhere this is some bug in it. The only way I can recover is soft reset. So I've gone back to Switcher Bar for now and see how it goes.

2. After I install Reader, it says to soft reset. I didn't cuz I couldn't be bothered, but everything was fine. I use Resco File Explorer, and even browsing thorugh a folder with 100 ebooks was fine, no lags. However, due to problem #1, I had to reset. Now, when I try to open my ebooks folder, it lags for like 10s, and it lags the same amount even if I only put 10 files in there. It also lags that much when I move forward in the folder. The Reader icon also seems to have disappeared from the files, although Reader still opens them when I click on it. What's happened? I tried uninstalling Reader and installing again and the same thing happened - before reset, browsing ebooks was fine, after reset it was unbearably lagging.

Has anyone else had this problem, or know what's wrong? I'm thinking i'll have to reinstall Reader again, but that's not really a permanent solution...

Thanks for any help you can give!

Some of the eariler versions of MS Reader did cause some problems of this nature but I am not familure with any problems associated with the newer versions...did you install it to Main memory? if you installed the program to a CF or SD that may be part of it. Also it might be a good idea to search the e-book forum of thi ssite to see if there is a similar problem reported by somone else.

I've installed it to main memory, and I'm fairly certain it's the latest version since I only downloaded it from the MS site last week. It's version 2.4.1 build 5323. I've try the ebook forum and see, thanks!
