Is it difficult to update the rom?

Recently i downloaded a rom update for WM2003 A5 from dell website for my X50V . I was think is it difficult to update from my currently WM2003 A1? Btw i tried updating it and my computer rebooted twice in the process.

Hmm... That's odd. I'm thinking it shouldn't have done that.

Make sure you have the Axim in the cradle not connected via WiFi or Bluetooth. Do the backup as required and then teh update. What is the version of the OS you are using on the PC?

The OS I am using for my computer is windows XP pro.

Try disabling all firewalls and antiviruses running first.
