Sync'ing Contacts

I have just taken delivery of an Axim 51V. I loaded Active Sync v. 4.1 as required by the manual, then conected the Axim, after selecting Contacts, Calendar Notes, etc.
Calendar & Notes loaded okay, but I cannot get Contacts to copy to the 51V.
My wife (now!) has my X30 - it continues to sync. without problem.
Any thoughts, please?

I dont know whats causing the problem. I once had something similar. WM5 has a nice feature though. You can export contacts from Outlook to vCards. Place them into My Documents on your Axim. Open contacts and presto. They are imported automatically. After that you can delete the vCards from My Documents.

Which makes me wonder something about your sync problem. If you create a contact on your Axim what happens? Can you sync contacts after that? Just a curious thought I had.

Edit: Are you trying to sync on a Guest account? Or did you create another profile?
