Both Beemer and me have received several requests of paypal information. This project is not finished yet. Maybe it never will. Each user has its own devices, configuration, etc., and it's difficult to make everything work to everybody. Anyway, I think things are better now than some months ago, when this "project" began. And I'm sure they will be better in the future. At least we'll continue working on this until it's perfect, or any more interesting solution is provided by Dell :rolling: or any other user that makes this useless.
We are doing this to contribute to this community and to learn and experiment new things. Your kind words and support are the prize for the contribution, and believe me that we have learnt a lot of things so far which is a great prize too.
Anyway, as some people feel they should contribute with some "more material" prizes, here it is our paypal information:
beemer: beemer[at]teleline.es
mikelspikel: mikelmartin[at]wanadoo.es
We could use your donations to invest in the project. For example to get some stereo headsets to try to solve the skipping and disconnection problems. :)
What can I say? Thank you very much.

:approve: I sent $10 to both... Thanks for the GREAT work so far...:approve:

Widcomm Upgrade - Error Help Please
I followed all the instructions for removal of the MS Stack and the instillation of the Widcomm stack. The icon loads at the bottom of the screen on startup and when i try to click to load the Widcomm Bluetooth Manager it pops up with a message:
" The Bluetooth Radio failed to turn ON due to insufficient memory availble. You must reset before you can turn ON Bluetooth Radio."
Further to this i did reset and check the memory status, but these seem fine. Should i be able to start the MS stack from the connections window? As i can but no longer communcate with any devices.
I've had a look back in this thread and there was a few people having troubles with this.
My rom as A06
Any ideas would be extremely greatfull, i really wanna get rid of the microsoft mess.
Cheers

In most cases, these problems were caused by some registry changes not being flashed correctly. Open your registry again and check if the things you deleted are still there or they have been correctly deleted. If your changes have been lost, follow the MS stack removal instructions again and now, when prompted to soft reset, put the device into stand-by, wait for 30 seconds or so, and then soft reset.

Hi thanks for your quick response,
Just checked the registry, it seems it is all correct as per the install instructions, just tried to load up the microsoft stack this time Bluetooth doens't iniitlize, but the same error appears when the widcomm bluetooth manager is loaded.

-Solved the bug about WIFI coexistence (patch preapplied).
-Most Stereo A2DP headphones working.
-Headset (HSP) and Handsfree (HFP) profiles working.

Hi guys,
I am not sure if this is just my luck, or...:
I have two BT Headsets: SonyEricsson HBH-300 and Platronics M3000.
Both devices do not work with my x51v A06 running newest V.038.
I can pair, discover services, and then... it never connects.
Any ideas?
Other services work fine: ASync, PAN, DialUp, OBEX, you name it...
Could you perhaps put a list of Headsets that do work on the front post?
Thanks!
You guys rock!
Anatoli

Great Work!!
Dell should at least give you credit for making their product a lot more functional!
WHAT were they THINKING in the firstplace?
Here's what's working sofar:
- Bluetooth GPRS-connection with Nokia mobile phone
- TomTom BlueTooth GPS
What ISN'T working, is my Jabra BlueTooth Headset. But it wasn't working with my x51 in the first place. (It'd be great to use PocketSkype over WiFi & a headset.)
In case you have a chance to look at it:
- Jabra BT330, Services on the Jabra aren't recognised.
Headset is working fine with my Nokia though.

@arkhipenko
Make sure that encryption is disabled for the connection with the headsets.
I had the same problem with my TomTom GPS device... Once I disabled encryption it workd fine!

Have you tried to add the headset through "Hands-free / Headset setup option" in connection wizard instead of "Explore a Bluetooth device"? The second option didn't find any service in my Plantronics M2500 but it works ok if I use Hands-free setup option.
