mmm, i checked the label. there is the words of "A12", does it indicate the hardware revision?

No, A12 is the software revision.
The hardware revisions of the X51v are A00, A01, and A02.

Well, yes, but that is on the label? It is under System Info. But no, there is no A12 hardware revision, I believe.

Anyway, I have the A12 ROM, and everything works fine.....

I couldn't find any information about hardware revision, in neither the battery cabinet nor system informatioin. But I guess the revision is the lastest one, say A02, since i just bought it in Oct.

Hello everybody. This is my first post on the aximsite. First, excuse me for my poor english ;)

I've just installed the windcomm BT stack on my Axim x51v. On my desktop computer I have BlueSoleil BT->USB adapter. My problem is that I cannot establish networking between my PC and Axim. I've read many manuals but have the following problem: I've changed BT network card's IP (on Axim) to 192.168.1.2. Desktop's BT network's IP is 192.168.1.1. When I'm trying to establish a connection (both variants: from desktop PC to Axim and from Axim to desktop), I cannot PING my desktop PC from Axim. I'm using vxUtil to ping and monitor network configurations on my Axim. I cannot not only PING, but also can't explore any of desktop resources from PDA. But it seems that the BT network connection works properly - vxUtil shows my PDA's IP correctly and desktop's ipconfig shows its network state as OK. Everything looks OK, but there is no even PING between PC and PDA :((
P.S. My Windows firewall is disabled.

Can somebody help me to configure TCP/IP networking between BlueSoleil and WindComm-Axim? Maybe I have problems with IP address configuration?

Hey has anyone tried connecting with the Mot H500 headset? After installing a fresh install of .5 release I cannot connect with the MOT H500 headset. Should I be able to get audio on this headset through bluetooth from my x51v when playing windows media mobile or TCPMP core player? I only have ROM A01, do I need to upgrade to A12? Thanks for answers in advance

By the way I was able to connect my x51v with my RAZR and Computer through bluetooth :). But what I really was hoping for is to be able to listen to music through my MOT H500 headset. I'd appreciated it if someone has successfully done this and with which version of the ROM.

I did it with my H500, I just picked the profile and now it works. If I press the call button on the headset it turns off the headset and audio then plays via the PDA speaker. all and all, very cool

Good!
On the one hand congratulations for obtained this!
Now I´m thinking if I can use it for my PDA.
I personally have 2: To acer N50 (w03SE) and Airis t620 (w05) and to me would interest very many that they could have this function.
I have tried to manipulate the registry but single I without sound have been able to have left,…not to really work.
Thanks and if somebody has obtained it for these models or thinks that

Thanks again for all

What ROM version of the software do you have? I'm wondering if this would work with A01? Also my x51v doesn't seem to be able to detect the H500 after I installed the .5 release. It was able to detect it before the installation. Any ideas?

How come you just don't use the Wifi instead of Bluetooth. Go get a router, they are very cheap. I surf the web with my PDa through Wifi and it works alright. Its slow.

The Widcomm stack works great with my x51x and LG VX8100 phone. I was questioning whether I made a right move to change over to the x51v from my Ipaq 2215. BT worked fine on my 2215. The 51 has been a real challenge until I installed the Widcomm stack. Thanks everyone. :)

Dell Dell Nav software doesn't work with Widcomm stack?

I'm using v0.50; I have the Dell BT-309 GPS receiver and Dell's Navteq software (v A01NA) with the WM5 update installed.

The BT stack works fine, I can BT Activesync with my desktop PC, and I can even get a BT serial connection between the GPS and my X50v. But the Dell Nav software doesn't find the BT-309.

BT Settings/Services/Advanced says inbound is on COM7 and outbound is on COM8. In "Start/Settings/System/GPS/Programs Tab" I select COM7, and COM8 on the hardware tab. When I select "Options/GPS Options/Autodetect" in the Nav program, it hangs for about a minute, then clears, but there is no GPS data.

Can anyone help me? Do I have to remove the Widcomm stack to make the Dell Nav software work?

It does work. It's all about map loader version you use. PM me or search for a post #863 in this thread for some more details.
