after installing TomTom 6 NA I received the error of No memory and blah blah

Just install the Widcomm software again. For some reason the TomTom 6 installer breaks Widcomm.

In the future, just make sure to install TomTom 6 before installing Widcomm.

Hi, does anyone has this clicking sound while listening to music using bluetooth A2DP? I have this clicking noise every second or so and I have flowcontrol patch.
I've tried both speed settings, but same thing. Also tried different player, no help either, and it is not the source, I've tried a wired headphone, it sounds fine.
Is there something I am missing? can someone help me?

That has not been my experience. I have TT6 Registered Version installed and all is well with my Widcomm.

hi all

i install widcom, it's working fine, leave home, pick up my kid, all still working except i can't browse the internet nomore, even axim still have good connetion to laptop

my network .. pcmcia card to laptop ( network card) , axim to pc (thru widcom bluetooth stack)...

help me out please, i'm a truck driver, i have to leave tomorow from san jose,ca to manassas,va

I have a G-Tech Bluetooth Soft Keyboard. Works fine with the MS stack. I download and install the Widcomm stack and can't get it to connect.

Does anyone else have this type of keyboard and successfully paired with X51v?

First, I was a knucklehead and didn't do a backup...so maybe I should be
posting on newbie.

Short and narrow first, I installed the BT 1.5.0 Build 2601.
And yes, I was able to pair the my headset to my Axim.
However, I got nothing. I found that my volume slider bar was at 0%, so
I slid it back to 100%. Upon closing, it appears to slides right back to 0%.
I've got no volume, BT headset, internal speaker, or plug-in earplugs.

The long story...
I received a Jabra BT620s headset for Christmas. Unfortunately, A2DP is
not enabled by default. I've printed and read and attempted to filter through
all the discussion of Widcomm, Mobile 2003, Mobile5/6, Speedswitcher, etc.
I thought I had found enough posting to suggest the HP install was my
answer. :rolling:

Which had me install the HP iPaq h5500 audio drivers... sp2003.exe

I read some mixed review about the HP install, unfortunately, I can't seem
to find the thread. I'll keep looking and may cross post later. Essentially,
the only downside I read, was that some thought that had poor sound quality
and there were some who suggested PDA2K....BroadcomUpdate patch.

I will mention that it appears the my Window Media player while play wmv
files seems to hiccup a little.... I don't hear the sound so I can't be sure.
Can the speedswitcher be used with the above mentioned HP/Broadcomm1.5 build? (I think the hiccup might be related to syncing with the BT)

I installed the BroadcomBluetoothStackX51V05 and darned if it doesn't work great. I can send data from the x51v via bluetooth now to both cells and a Palm (shiver).

But.... When I try to AS via the cradle, the PC shows device not recognized. If I uninstall the BT stack, then AS works fine.


Any I deas or links to a solution?

You need to do the following:

OK, the bottom line if you install the CAB for Widcomm on X51 A12 ROM

Fixing RNDIS in Widcomm BT

(I am using Resco registry to edit..)
[HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\Serial8]
rename to [HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\Serial6] and change these subkeys acordingly
"FriendlyName"="Bluetooth Serial Port COM6:"
"DeviceArrayIndex"=dword:00000006
"Index"=dword:00000006

leave the other values untouched...

Soft-Reset

Go to Settings, Connections, USB to PC: UNCHECKED.
And cradle the Axim!

This should fix the Problem.

Thx for this wonderfull prog. It solved 99% of me problems.

Last issue remaining I cant dial from Informant 2007 to me Sony Ericsson W880i.
contact is made info is send but the phone does not dial!!
Sending contact from Informant 2007 to W880i ok
TomTom 6 trafic Through W880i ok
BTGPS connection ok
Browsing the W880i ok
Explorer trough W880i ok

All applications can run and opperate parallel.
Plz advise
