I just installed V05 on my x51v (WM6.1 football A08) and it instantly worked! The last two days were really amazing with my x51v...updated to WM6 now I can use SDHC cards and now with the bluetoothstack I finally can use my Headset. Even my Bluetooth GPS Mouse (i-Blue 747) instantly worked with TomTom5!
The only thing i recognized, when I use the headset (Motorola H670)...that there is always a really low noise, I think thats normal, but sometimes dunno every 20-30 seconds there is another noise, I dont know how to explain a quiet clicking noise. I don't know if this normal? Well when I turn on music I can't hear it anymore, but I don't want to hear music with my headset anyway :) I want to use it in my car to get the gps informations directly into my ear, because I don't have such a new car radio with an audio-in :)
Now only my modem connection has to work...and then I am perfectly happy :)

Hello again!
After all worked fine I had to do a reset of my x51v and I installed everything new. I also flashed my WM6 new. And I dont know what's the problem, I installed everything the same way like I did before.
Currently I am running WM6.1 football A08. I installed some software like SPB pocket plus, diary and weather, then I installed the bluetooth stack, after that it works fine, I connected to my Bluetooth GPS Mouse. Then I installed again my Tomtom software (v6.020.7980)! But now when I want to start Tomtom, but also when I only want to start bluetooth normaly over today screen there comes the message:
Quote:
BTTrayCE
The Bluetooth Radio failed to turn ON due to insufficient driver memory available. You must perform a normal reset before you can turn ON the Bluetooth Radio.
Someony know this problem? I already tried to reset, but didnt help...the only difference, now I use an SDHC card...but there is only the map on it for tomtom. I also tried to uninstall tomtom again...even when I uninstall the bluetooth stack it doesnt work
Edit:
Ok, after I flashed WM6 for dunno 30 times...now it works again. And tried several combinations and different orders of installing the software (Spb Pocket Plus, Diary, Weather, Tomtom6 and of course the Bluetooth stack). The conclusion...I have to install Tomtom before I install the Widcomm Bluetooth Stack! It doesn't matter which software is installed too...I flashed my x51v and installed only Tomtom6 and Widcomm...order 1.Widcomm 2.Tomtom doesnt work, always the message like I quoted above. 1.Tomtom 2. Widcomm works! After this I installed the other software and no message about insufficient memory! I installed all on the device and not on the SDHC card (maybe I should do that, but I want all the "system" software on the device so it can run properly even without the SD card). I don't know why the combination or better the order of first Widcomm and then Tomtom doesnt work.

Reason: Update
I just had this same problem today with LennySh's L10 WM6.1 ROM... I also use tom tom 7 (garmin mobile xt also works) You must install the widcomm stack absolutely the very last thing, then reset... I as a habit always disable everything uneeded from the startup folder too... but this isn't necessary...
apply these registry edits with total commander 2.5 (freeware):
Code:
[HKLM\Software\Widcomm\BTConfig\Applications\0001]
Change ComPortNumber from 8 to 7
[HKLM\Software\Widcomm\BTConfig\Services\0001]
Change ComPortNumber from 7 to 6
[HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\Serial8]
rename to [HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\Serial6] and change these subkeys acordingly
"FriendlyName"="Bluetooth Serial Port COM6:"
"Dll"="btcedrivers.dll" <---should already be set properly, but just double check!
"DeviceArrayIndex"=dword:00000006
"Index"=dword:00000006
Look for the registry key (This should also already be set, but just check to be sure):
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\RNDISFN1\Parms\TcpIp
Change
EnableDHCP=1
to
EnableDHCP=0
Now in bt manager setup a pair between axim and bt gps receiver, then goto connections and "add new" and make sure it comes up with "SPP Slave" as an available service, I'm not sure if it is necessary, but I disable "encryption necessary" now on the shortcuts page you should have your device listed and you can click/hold and choose "connect" now start tom tom or gps software and should connect... you will have to reconnect if you close the program and reopen.
Thank you for the information! After I installed Tomtom first and then the widcomm stack everything works fine! I didn't changed anything in my registry...for the first usage I connected to my BT GPS mouse (i-Blue747) and selected the service SPP Slave. Then I started Tomtom6 and selected there "another bluetooth gps mouse" and I think it was Bluetooth COM8. And everything works, I dont even have to start bluetooth now before Tomtom. I only power on the GPS Mouse and start Tomtom, Tomtom itself powers on Bluetooth and connects automatically to the GPS mouse.

really... interesting... i'll have to give that a try... I wonder if the reg edits I made will have anything to do with that not working the same... thanks for the tip!
has anyone got any sms program on the axim to work with this bt stack? I've tried like 4 different programs (SimpleSMS, EasySMS, zSMS,...), and they don't seem to work. If anyone has, could you please outline how you set up your ports? Thanks.

If L11 doesn't have the BT profiles you need then it would be worth trying these drivers.
Just reading the posts on this page suggests that it isn't dangerous to install them.
Personally I haven't found a need for the widcomm stack and I have L11 but there may be profiles that I haven't needed to use.
My mind was on something with SDHC on the other threads. L11 does have a working Bluetooth stack. If it doesn't work, try the Widcomm then.

Hello.
I can't use PAN with x51v on wm5
I have toshiba g900 (wm6) and the only way to use it as modem is Bluetooth PAN.
I have dell axim x51v (wm5) with widcomm BT stack (v05).
I'm enabling PAN on g900. Than connecting to g900 with axim. It gets ip, gate, dns. But I cant even ping gate (192.168.0.1).
Internet works with g900's PAN on computer.
Is there a problem with widcomm stack? How can I debug connection?
I installed 0.5 on my x51v WM5 A12. It seemed to work but my PC using Win2K would not then recognise the axim any more. Another problem was that when paired with my HTC s710 as a modem, the axim downloaded data but wouldn't upload data.
