Address not valid

Has anyone seen this? I bring up IE and get a message "address not valid" for my home page. Try my favorites list and all come up "address not valid". Soft reset no help.

What is the URL it shows in the address bar for your home page? Did you try other sites (e.g., www.aximsite.com)?

did you change it using a registry editor or a program that edits the home page for you. If you did, don't forget to put http:// in front to the url.

It' all my favorites, all websites that I enter. The only recent acitivity I can recall is updating the program "hitchhiker". It's similar to the X3 when "Page not found" used to come up and running "welcome" in windows would clear it up. I thought maybe there was a fix like that. But apparently not.

This thread can be closed. I never did figure out what caused it, or a correction. Did a hard reset...OK now.

Oh....by the way.. It wasn't Hitchhiker causing the problem. My restore included the Hitchhiker update.
